
At age 19, Gart Sutton began selling used cars full-time to put himself through college. After earning a degree in Business Administration/Psychology, he started moving up through the retail ranks. He quickly mastered the positions of Sales Professional, Pre-Owned Vehicle Manager, F&I Manager and General Sales Manager. By the time he was 29, Gart was supervising six managers and 36 salespeople, and selling over 4,000 vehicles annually at a single franchise dealership.
Utilizing his retail knowledge and experience, Gart started his own consulting and training business in Newport Beach, California. Since 1980, he has been recognized as one of the most respected consultants in the motorcycle and related recreational industries.
Author, speaker and educator, Gart Sutton is a frequent keynote speaker for national motorcycle conventions and state Motorcycle Dealer Association events. Additionally, Gart has a featured column in each Powersport Business Magazine issue.
