Jim
Gilmore DMS and Dealership Accounting Consultant Jim Gilmore graduated from the prestigious Jesuit College Preparatory high school and attended Texas A&M University earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. His first job after graduation was as an Accountant for an IT company in Dallas. After the IT crash in 2001, Jim found himself working in a parts department at a local motorcycle dealership. Although his passion for motorcycles made this a very rewarding job, he moved on to continue his career as an Accountant. It wasn't long before he was recruited by a major motorcycle dealer to be their Finance Manager. Two years later he once again found himself back in the corporate grind; this time as an Accountant for the Walt Disney Corporation. While at Disney he discovered his true passion was the motorcycle industry and that is where he wanted to be. He made the leap and started his own consulting business. With his knowledge of corporate accounting, the motorcycle industry and his advanced training in LightSpeed, Jim has become a successful and in-demand powersports dealership consultant. He takes great pride in being able to assist dealers with any accounting issues they might have. Jim's interest in motorcycles started at very young age. Motorcycles have been in his blood since he watched his uncle clean his bikes after coming home from the motocross races. While in college, Jim founded the Texas A&M Motocross and Enduro Association. This student-run organization is still active today. Outside of motorcycles, Jim's
passion is building hot rods. He is also an avid
